The Commander Sculptures in Rise of Kingdoms are mainly used to unlock and upgrade the skills of the commanders.
You can also use the Commander Sculptures to upgrade commander star but it is not recommended in most cases.
There are 2 types of Commander Sculptures:
- Sculptures of specific Commanders. 10 commander-specific sculptures are required to unlock a commander.
- The Universal Sculptures can be used to improve any type of commander depending on their rarity (
Advanced, 
Elite, 
Epic and 
Legendary)
The higher rarity the sculpture is, the harder it is to get.
When you use sculptures to upgrade commander skills, a random unlocked skill will be upgraded. However, you can always lock the unwanted skills to focus on the others easier!

How to get Legendary Commander Sculptures?
Not Competing for the Top 1 in Events
This is because, once you are the number one spot, somebody’s gonna be higher than you and gonna try to push you down, you will eventually lose the value. You simply cannot compete with them as you are free to play player while they are always pay-to-win players.
There are a lot of events that offer Legendary Sculptures as rewards, such as research event, building event, troop training event, power up,… You have to be strategic on them! You don’t have to always win number one is my biggest tip. Spending a decent amount of resources to get to top 2-3 is the best way to make the most of your resources!
Unlocking VIP Lvl. 12
Get into VIP level 12 is your first goal because you can get two legendary commander sculpture every day here via the free VIP Exclusive Chest.
It’s recommended to invest in your VIP points (after VIP lvl. 6) is during the More Than Gems event. You can easily get a great value of Legendary Commander Sculptures here.
The strategy during the More Than Gems event is to spend 25k gems on one day and you get about like 13 Legendary Commander Sculpture. Then, spend other 25k Gems on the next day of the event.
This is the best way to convert your gems into legendary commander sculpture.
Keep in mind that this event comes around every 2 months so you have to save your Gems until you have the event unlocked.
Opening Gold Keys
- An efficient way for low spenders is that you should look into the treasurer of King, which gives you a gold key for three bucks.
- The Mighty Army is an easy event that gives out Gold Keys. All you need to do is just to defeat Barbarians and spend some Action Points here to get the Gold Keys.
- In the Ceroli Crisis, you can compete in here and get some medals and get to the shop to buy the Golden Key as well. Teleports and speed up are also very great purchases here.
- You can also get some gold Keys as well is through your Alliance chests. It’s super crucial to get into a top Alliance because of this! Whenever your Alliance members purchase a bundle in the game, everyone in the Alliance receives an Alliance Chest, having a chance of getting Gold Keys & some other valuable rewards!
- You can also defeat the Barbarian Forts to get extra Gold Keys. The drop-rate of the gold key for this one is quite low but you still need to defeat as many Forts as possible as it gives you the Books for upgrading the Castle, which is always a must.
Kingdoms Vs. Kingdoms
If you are in the Lost Kingdom or in the Light and Darkness KvK, you can also gain a lot of Legendary Commander Sculptures here as well by completing some of the achievements & tasks.
You can also get a lot of sculptures though the individual ranking & alliance ranking so you must work together within your Alliance to get the best possible ranking.
You just have to defeat a lot of Barbarians and use your Action Points as much as you can!
You also get speed-ups & resource packs when defeating Barbarians. Save them up and use them for competing in events as mentioned before. Typically, you want to save your resources in 2-3 KvK seasons and spend it in the next KvK, in case you are a free to play or low spender.
Wheel of Fortune Event
Wheel of Fortune is a great event for getting Legendary commander Sculptures.
This event is more about specific commanders. You do not only get the commander sculptures here but also a lot of other great things here such as speed-ups, universal sculptures, etc.
The best thing about this event is you get extra sculptures of the event commander whenever you spend a certain amount of gems on spins.
Extras:
- Bet in here in the Ark of Osiris League & use the chips to purchase sculptures from the shop.
- Sometimes you can get them from the Expedition Metal store.
Specific Commander Sculptures
Specific Commander Sculptures can be used to summon the Commanders that haven’t unlocked yet. You can also use these sculptures to upgrade the skills of your commanders.
Advanced Commanders
You can obtain the sculptures of these Commanders from various events and quests at the beginning of the game.
They are also obtainable in 
Silver Chests.
Elite Commanders
You can obtain the sculptures of these Commanders from various events in the game and also in the Expedition Store.
They are also obtainable in Silver Chests.
Epic Commanders
You can obtain the sculptures of these Commanders from various events in Rise of Kingdoms and also the Expedition Store.
You can also obtain them from both Silver Chests and 
Golden Chests.
Legendary Commanders
You can obtain the sculptures of these Commanders from various events in Rise of Kingdoms and also the Expedition Store sometimes.
Some can be obtained from the Special Privilege Chests and the high level VIP Stores.
