Recommended Talent Tree Builds for Constantine I
Open Field Build

If we decide to use Constantine for open-field combat, we need to have the best talents, these talents will be mainly aimed at increasing damage and resistances of our units. Constantine is an excellent commander, leading infantry and empowering them with skills like “Allegiance” that increase the health of his units by up to 40% maximum, something rare.
“Edict of Milan” its active skill is a perfect counterattack, it reduces our enemy’s attack by 40% and in turn reduces any damage from it to our troops and nearby allies by 10%. It is an excellent skill in both forms of PVP, when fighting in the open field, this skill will be essential to decrease as many casualties.
Constantine has a passive healing factor skill, the most powerful in the game “Cross of the Divine” when our troops have reduced their strength to 50% Constantine will cast a strong healing spell capable of restoring a large portion of our troops.
The infantry will be empowered by its ultimate skill “Sole Augustus” that will increase the attack and defense of our infantry by 15% and 5% respectively. Constantine is a great commander and if we want to use him in the open field he is highly recommended thanks to his versatile talents that we will explain below:
Garrison Talents
- This time we will not use any of the talents of “Garrison”.
Support Talents
Loose Formation: Reduces skill damage taken by 9%. Any commander who uses his skill against Constantine, he will reduce part of the damage.
Elixir: Enhances healing effects received by troops by 9%. Increases Constantine’s healing for his skill “Cross of the Divine”.
Hasty Departure: When troops led by this commander depart from a structure. Increases march speed by 60% for the next 10 seconds. When using this talent we will have a bonus of march speed when entering and leaving structures or resource points.
Burning Blood: Normal attacks grant an additional 9 rage. Each attack of Constantine will increase the regeneration of Rage by 9, which will facilitate the launch of his skill during battles.
Rejuvenate: Instantly restores 150 rage whenever a skill is used. A strong rage restoration that will allow us to launch our active skill much faster.
Infantry Talents
Iron Spear: Infantry units led by this commander deal an additional 9% damage to cavalry units. As an infantry leader, it is ideal for Constantine to deal more damage to the cavalry, this is an essential talent.
Undying Fury: Normal attacks grant an additional 9 rage. “Undying Fury” + “Burning Blood” = +18 rage per attack.
Double-Headed Axe: Increases normal attack damage by 1.5%. An extra damage gain for our troops.
Call of the Pack: When the army led by this commander has been reduced to 50% strength, increases defense of all troops by 6%. This talent is perfect for long battles, increases our resistance in open field once we have reduced half of our troops.
Hold the Line: When the army led by this commander contains only infantry units, gives troops a 10% chance to reduce damage taken by 20% for the next 2 seconds after being attacked. Excellent!
Snare of Thorns: Gives normal attacks a 10% chance to reduce target march speed by 20% for the next 2 seconds. Even if it is by probability, it can be very useful if we pursue an enemy while attacking it.
Elite Soldiers: When the army led by this commander contains only infantry units, attack, defense and health are increased by 2.5%. Perfect! We should only use infantry units.
When fighting in open field Constantine is a good choice as an infantry commander, his skills and talents at all times will be of importance to his units. This build is focused on the greatest damage we can inflict on the enemy. Although Constantine is a strong commander with great durability, remember that he also carries very high damage statistics, capable of destroying any enemy that stands in his way.
Garrison Build
Defending structures, cities or garrison is not the task of any commander, it takes a strong capacity of skills and talents, Constantine is one of the commanders dedicated to this task in Rise of Kingdoms.
Impasse will be Constantine’s main skill if we garrison structures. The damage bonus of this skill to our defense is incredible, with a great combined effectiveness of skills, talents and commanders we will be able to cause many losses to our enemies in any structure that we defend.
In this build, we will not distribute all the talents to the Garrison tree for a simple reason, Constantine’s roll in a structure is better than Secondary Commander, being Primary he would need strong talents like “Defense” which improve the resistance of his units, without However, in the case of Constantine, the talents of “Support” are incredible working from a safe defense and it is worth prioritizing other important aspects within these talents, in this way it works as a primary as well and yields a lot, then we will explain its essence:
Garrison Talents
Impenetrable Fortifications: When this commander is serving as garrison commander, damage taken by the garrison from the attacking army is reduced by 6%.
Empty Fortress Stratagem: While this commander is serving as garrison commander, increases dealt to attacking armies by 6%. Constantine will cause more damage to our enemies from his garrison.
Impregnable: When this commander is serving as garrison commander, skill damage taken by the garrison is reduced by 15%. Excellent talent against high damage commanders in skills such as Genghis Khan, Saladin, Guan Yu, etc.
Nowhere to Turn: When this commander is serving as garrison commander, grants an additional 6 rage every time the city is attacked. Our active skill will have less cooldown thanks to this talent.
Support Talents
Loose Formation: Reduces skill damage taken by 9%. “Loose Formation” + “Impregnable” = Reduces Skill damage by 26%. Very Good!
Elixir: Enhances healing effects received by troops by 9%. Being a commander of the garrison this talent will increase the healing of your skill “Cross of the Divine” by 9%, the garrison have hundreds of millions of troops, which this 9% of healing can exceed even entire armies of a single commander. It is a considerable increase if we defend cities or structures.
Hasty Departure: When troops led by this commander depart from a structure. Increases march speed by 60% for the next 10 seconds. If we defend any structure this talent will not be used, however, it is mandatory to develop it to continue towards “Rejuvenate”.
Burning Blood: Normal attacks grant an additional 9 rage. Each attack of Constantine will increase the regeneration of Rage by 9, which will facilitate the launch of his ability during battles.
Emergency Protection: When troops led by this commander take skill damage, there is a 50% chance that they will gain an additional 15% skill damage reduction for the next 3 seconds. Every 2 attacks we can count on this probability, which is excellent, if we add: “Emergency Protection” + Loose Formation “+” Impregnable “= Reduces skill damage by 41%. Awesome!
Rejuvenate: Instantly restores 150 rage whenever a skill is used. A strong rage restoration that will allow us to launch our active skill much faster.
Infantry Talents
Iron Spear: Infantry units led by this commander deal an additional 9% damage to cavalry units. When defending structures of any type, the largest number of enemy rallies can be from cavalry units thanks to their high skill damage and resistance on commanders like Attila / Takeda, this talent will be vital for these attacks.
Undying Fury: Normal attacks grant an additional 9 rage. “Undying Fury” + Burning Blood” = +18 rage per attack.
Double-Headed Axe: Increases normal attack damage by 1.5%. An extra damage gain for our troops in the Garrison.
Call of the Pack: When the army led by this commander has been reduced to 50% strength, increases defense of all troops by 6%. This talent is perfect for long battles, it increases the resistance of our troops once we have reduced half of them in the garrison.
Strong Body: Increases health of infantry units by 6%. The infantry the garrison will become much more resistant.
These talents give us a garrison defender Constantine, very resistant to skill damage mainly and with high statistics in his troops, becoming a powerful commander, strong and tenacious, a mix between defense, health, healing factor, attack and damage reduction per skill it’s all we need at Constantine and we have that to defend at whatever price is necessary.
It is highly advisable to use Constantine to defend our city or any structure of our alliance, so this last build will be the most important for its way of playing.
