Champions of Olympia Skills

One of the most great events for the Governors, we will have much more combat mechanics, strategies and Victory modes. Every weekend the new format of Champions of Olympia will be available where all the governors of the game can participate and get rewards.

Skills

The biggest and most important change is the new Skills system where we now have a series of specializations for each type of unit and commanders that we want to use: Infantry, Cavalry, Archer and Mixed, these specializations are divided into 3 Types: Power Skills, Tactical Skills and Support Skills.

Infantry Skills

Athena is a patron goddess of defenders. Infantry under her blessing will fight with great courage, blocking damage on allies’ behalf.

Power Skills

Choose 1 of 4 skills

  • Battlecry: All your troops gain 40% increased attack and 15% damage for 60 seconds.
  • Boots on the Ground: All your infantry units gain 80% increased attack and deal 30% increased damage to cavalry for 60 seconds.
  • Rejuvenation: Grants a burst of healing to all troops under your command every second (Healing Factor 500) for 30 seconds.
  • Revival: Immediately revives all routed troops under your command.

Tactical Skills

Choose 2 of 4 skills

  • Bloodlust: Grants the selected infantry troop under your command a burst of healing for the next 20 second per 3 strikes inflicted against them (Healing Factor 300). Only one burst of healing can be delivered per second. Skill cannot be used without infantry troops present. Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Shield of Iron: Grants the selected infantry troop under your command a 50% chance of taking 80% less damage from normal attacks for the next 30 seconds. Skill cannot be used without infantry troops present. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Lead the Charge: The selected infantry troop under your command takes 50% less damage from all sources and taunts up to 5 nearby enemy troops for 5 seconds. And they restore 500 Morale immediately. Skill cannot be used without infantry troops present. Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Vengeful Strike: Your infantry troops deal skill damage to up to 3 nearby enemies (Damage Factor 300), and take 15% reduced damage for 3 seconds with every 5% loss of units. Skill cannot be used without infantry troops present. Passive Skill.

Support Skills

Choose 1 of 4 skills

  • Preemptive Strike: All your troops gain 80% increased march speed for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Holy Redemption: Shortens the revival time of all your troops by 20%. Passive Skill.
  • Deep Tactician: All your troops permanently gain 50% greater visual range. Passive Skill.
  • Guardians of the Pass: All your flag-garrisoning troops are counted twice when tallying the number of occupants for 5 seconds. Duration is extended by 5 seconds per infantry troop under your commander. Cooldown: 60 seconds.

Cavalry Skills

From the eternal darkness they strike, and to the eternal darkness are their foes sent. Cavalry blessed by Hades stalk the battlefield, quickly annihilating their foes when the time is right.

Power Skill

Choose 1 of 4 skills

  • Battlecry: All your troops gain 40% increased attack and 15% damage for 60 seconds.
  • Iron Hoofs: All your cavalry units gain 80% increased attack and deal 30% increased damage to archers for 60 seconds.
  • Rejuvenation: Grants a burst of healing to all troops under your command every second (Healing Factor 500) for 30 seconds.
  • Revival: Immediately revives all routed troops under your command.

Tactical Skills

Choose 2 of 4 skills

  • Master of the Battlefield: Grants a stack of the Conqueror buff to the selected cavalry troop under your command per normal attack dealt for the next 30 seconds, increasing normal attack damage by 5% and reducing counterattack damage by 5% for 10 seconds per stack. 10 stacks of the Conqueror buff also increase the cavalry attack by 80% for 10 seconds (can only be triggered once per used of this skill). Skill cannot be used without cavalry troops present. Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Slice and Dice: The selected cavalry troop under your command inflicts bonus skill damage (Damage Factor 100) and reduces targets’ march speed by 30% for 3 seconds per normal attack dealt for the next 30 seconds. Skill cannot be used without cavalry troops present. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Relentless Strikes: The selected cavalry troop under your command inflicts bonus normal attack per normal attack dealt and gains immunity to Morale debuffs for the next 30 seconds. Skill cannot be used without cavalry troops present. Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Rapid March: Cavalry troops under your command affected by a march speed boost gain 30% increased attack and deal 10% increased damage to enemy troops affected by a march speed debuff. Skill cannot be used without cavalry troops present. Passive Skill.

Support Skills

Choose 1 of 4 skills

  • Preemptive Strike: All your troops gain 80% increased march speed for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Master of Terrain: Your cavalry troops are no longer slowed by terrain (e.g forests, bogs, roads, etc), and gain 20% increased march speed. Skill cannot be used without cavalry troops present. Passive Skill.
  • Holy Redemption: Shortens the revival time of all your troops by 20%. Passive Skill.
  • Deep Tactician: All your troops permanently gain 50% greater visual range. Passive Skill.

Archer Skills

Ares lives to fight. Archers with his blessing can devastate large areas of the battlefield.

Power Skills

Choose 1 of 4 skills

  • Battlecry: All your troops gain 40% increased attack and 15% damage for 60 seconds.
  • Ranged Mastery: All your archer units gain 80% increased attack and deal 30% increased damage to infantry for 60 seconds.
  • Rejuvenation: Grants a burst of healing to all troops under your command every second (Healing Factor 500) for 30 seconds.
  • Revival: Immediately revives all routed troops under your command.

Tactical Skills

Choose 2 of 4 skills

  • All-Out: Transforms the selected archer troop under your command into and arrow tower, dealing skill damage to up 3 enemy troops within radius every 3 seconds (Damage Factor 800). The transformed troop also take 20% more damage from all sources. Transformed arrow can be turned back into normal troop. Only one archer troop can act as an arrow tower at any one time. Skill cannot be used without troops present. Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Marching Tune: Deals skill damage to up to 5 enemy troops in the target area within visual range (Damage Factor 500). Damage Factor is increased by 200 per archer troop under your command. Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Holy Shackles: Stun the selected enemy troop within visual range for 7 seconds. Duration is increased by 3 seconds per archer troop under your command. Cooldown: 120 seconds.
  • Psychological Warfare: Inflicts a 40% chance of Disarming a selected enemy troop within visual range following each of their normal attacks for the next 20 seconds. Chance to Disarm gets increased by 15% per archer troop under your command. Cooldown: 60 seconds.

Support Skills

Choose 1 of 4 skills

  • Preemptive Strike: All your troops gain 80% increased march speed for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Holy Redemption: Shortens the revival time of all your troops by 20%. Passive Skill.
  • Marksman: All your troops gain 50% greater visual range for 20 seconds plus and additional 50% boost per archer troop under your commander. Cooldown 60 seconds.
  • Deep Tactician: All your troops permanently gain 50% greater visual range. Passive Skill.

Mixed Skills

The gleam of their arrows inspires artistic masterworks and illuminates the mind itself. Mixed troops blessed by Apollo provide their team with powerful buffs befitting the god of the sun.

Power Skills

Choose 1 of 3 skills

  • True Leadership: All your troops gain 60% increased attack and deal 20% increased damage for 60 seconds.
  • Rejuvenation: Grants a burst of healing to all troops under your command every second (Healing Factor 500) for 30 seconds.
  • Revival: Immediately revives all routed troops under your command.

Tactical Skills

Choose 2 of 4 skills

  • Divine Barrier: Bestows a shield lasts for 3 seconds (Shield Factor 800) on up to 3 nearby allied troops for each skill cast for the next 30 seconds. Shield Factor is increased by 300 per mixed troop under your command. Cooldown 120 seconds.
  • Divine Halo: Grants a burst of healing to up to 3 allied troops within the selected area per seconds (Healing Factor 200) for 10 seconds. Duration is increased by 2 seconds per mixed troop under your command. Cooldown 60 seconds.
  • Victory Concerto: Restores 100 Morale per second top up to 5 allied troops within the selected area for 10 seconds. Morale restored per seconds gets increased by 50 per mixed troop under your command. Cooldown 120 seconds.
  • Guidance of the Light: Grants a 10% boost to the attack, defense, and health of the selected own troop or allied troop for the duration of the battle. No troops may be enhanced by this skill more than once per battle. Boost is increased by 5% per mixed troop under your command.

Support Skills

Choose 1 of 3 skills

  • Preemptive Strike: All your troops gain 80% increased march speed for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 60 seconds.
  • Holy Redemption: Shortens the revival time of all your troops by 20%. Passive Skill.
  • Deep Tactician: All your troops permanently gain 50% greater visual range. Passive Skill.

Control

Some skill can give Governors new ways to control enemy troops. Affected troops will be marked to indicate which skills affect them.

This control system remains as in the previous version. It does not undergo any change.

Team Lobby

As part of the new redesign of the event in general, “Team Lobby” is one of those that has a new view, much more pleasant and comfortable to invite our friends or make direct invitations to some type of chat, and now we can see the marches and commanders chosen by our teammates, even their skills selected for battle. One of the big changes in “Champions of Olympia”.

Other changes

  • This new update brings a series of visual changes that are much more pleasant for the players, more comfortable, optimizing much of the event in terms of interface and gameplay.
  • Some bugs that existed in the previous version have been corrected, where we could attack the enemy in their safe zone, other errors on the map and flags.
  • Now we can see on our screen the use of the Skills used by our allies at the precise moment of the battle, although this notification is a bit annoying, we can take advantage of it by observing our ally using the Skill and taking advantage of the moment of the battle to support it or create another strategy.
  • The MPV system in general has been optimized, we can get some important medal at the end of the game in many ways, even being the MVP with a great performance on the map.
  • Map lag has been reduced and the simplified graphics option works better.
